HAS SAIL GP GONE TOO FAR?
SailGP’s second event of the 2026 season will be remembered for the wrong reasons, but given how serious the risks now appear to have become Matt Sheahan considers whether this should and could this be the turning point for SailGP.
So, rather than focussing intense racing in a perfect setting, talk around the event centred on how terrifyingly close the latest collision came to tragedy.
